Viaanse molen
Part of the Viaanse Molen area are the community gardens and the TAQA complex. Two monumental farms are still standing on the dike, and part of the Viaanse Molen are two monumental mills. In the middle of the Viaanse Molen is the special PEN-dorp complex. An office complex by architect Bonnema with a very special inner garden by Mien Ruys. The landscape of the Viaanse Molen is recognizable as a typical polder landscape of polder trees, reeds and waterways. Viaanse Molen becomes more urban. Viaanse Molen may in the future transform into a more urban residential area combined with social and societal facilities and work.
