Duco de Wit has been living in Amsterdam for 13 years, and for the past year, he has been living with his girlfriend. He is an avid cyclist and participated in the Liège-Bastogne-Liège last year. Every year, he goes on cycling holidays with a group of friends, which is an important part of his life.
After studying financial management at VU University, he worked for two years at an M&A firm. For the past five years, he has been working at CBRE Investment Management. Initially, his focus was on acquiring residential and logistics properties throughout the Netherlands. In recent years, he has been busy building the seed portfolio for CBRE's new European residential fund, with purchases of new-build homes in Germany, the Nordics, Spain, and the UK.
The housing market is currently a very topical issue, which makes the work challenging and interesting for Duco. It provides the satisfaction of contributing to the creation of places that will ultimately become people's homes.
